Cameron Norrie v Marcos Giron Head to Head
They played once and Norrie won that match in straight sets.

Norrie Barely Pulls Through against Cachin
Pedro Cachin has been playing pretty strong tennis recently and he certainly caught Norrie off guard in this one. The Brit lost the opening set but rallied strongly in the second despite being down a break. He then won the final set in a very close tiebreak to win and move on.
Norrie is hoping to find a place in Turin but he’ll need some spectacular tennis in order to win this and perhaps Paris to make it. That’s going to be tough as he’s not playing on that level but he’s playing well enough to beat Giron whom he defeated once before.
The Brit does well indoors as it allows him to track down balls yet he doesn’t attack as effectively as he should. His forehand has been all over the place in the past few weeks and generally, his level has been very shaky since Wimbledon.

Giron Cruises Past Griekspoort
Marcos Giron played a very solid match in round one to take down Tallon Griekspoor in straight sets. The American has been grinding all year long but it’s not been a very good year, especially when compared to last year when he posted a 39-25 record.
This year it’s only 22-29 and but it looked a bit better lately as he’s very competitive in the slower indoor conditions. His game is that of a typical American player with some solid serves and pretty good forehand but he generally doesn’t have the same power like most Americans have.
He’s quite athletic and quick around the court so he can win points on his hustle alone and he competes from start to finish. I do think he’ll make this interesting but I don’t think he can really challenge Norrie if the Brit produces anything remotely to his level.
Norrie v Giron Prediction and Tip
They played once and Norrie won in straight sets. I do think he’ll win again but the over might be a better option as he was rather shaky in the past weeks and Giron competes hard.
Tip: Over 21.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
