Daniil Medvedev v Andrey Rublev
A Russian clash in Turin will feature Medvedev and Rublev. They know each other well, they practice together and they played each other quite a few times. Medvedev leads 5-1 so far but the most recent one was won by Rublev. The younger Russian is also the better player indoor if we take the number of trophies he won however it’s very close.
Both are very good indoors because both have a really good serve with Rublev generally playing with more power. Medvedev has more precision in his shots and is able to win winners from incredible positions which tends to frustrate Rublev quite a bit.
Their only indoor match was a bit closer than the other so we should be expecting a very close one here. Medvedev is the clear favourite to win because he handled Turin far better last year than Rublev but the over is a solid bet as well because I think it’s going to be very close.
Tip: Medvedev to win: 8/11 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
Novak Djokovic v Stefanos Tsitsipas
Another matchup where the players know each really well is that between Djokovic and Tsitsipas. They played 12 times so far with Djokovic leading 9-3. The most recent one was in Paris just a week ago when Djokovic pulled out a win in three sets.
That one was closer than usual which indicates that in the right circumstances Tsitsipas can keep this close. Djokovic also prevailed in the recent clash in Astana but that one was easier in straight sets. The Serb actually beat Tsitsipas all three times they played this year.
He just finds a way to take apart the game of Tsitsipas exploring a weakness on his backhand. It’s not a coincidence that the Paris match was much closer because the backhand was pretty good that day. It’s not always the case and then he needs to rely on his serve which can be tough to do against Djokovic.
Take Djokovic.

Kyrgios/Kokkinakis v Koolhof/Skupski
The Special K’s made their way to Turin to play at the ATP Finals this year and they start off against the top seeds. What better way to signal your intention to win the event than by beating the number one seeds. Koolhof/Skupski have been the best doubles pairing this year winning multiple trophies together.
Kyrgios and Kokkinaksi were the best when they did play because they only played a handful of events but even so they managed to find themselves in Turin. It’s going to be a very interesting one and certainly one that comes down to the serve.
The court plays fast, the serve matters and Kyrgios and Kokkinakis have such a strong bond and great chemistry that it could take them far. I’m willing to try to ‘upset’ here because the odd is just too good to pass up so I’ll back the Aussies.
Tip: Kyrgios/Kokkinakis to win: 1/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
