Ajla Tomljanovic v Harriet Dart Head to Head
While they have faced off once at the highest level, there have also been two other matches between these two – in a qualifying round of the Rogers Cup last year and the Billie Jean Cup 2022 as well.
Overall, Tomljanovic leads 2-1 with Dart having won their previous meeting at the Billie Jean Cup not too long ago.

While Tomljanovic ended the season with back to back defeats at the Billie Jean Cup – including one to her opponent in this match – the Aussie did have a season to remember otherwise.
So much so that Tomljanovic ended the year ranked 33rd in the world, the best ever of her career.
After an underwhelming start to the year 2022 which saw Tomljanovic plunge to 72nd on the WTA charts thanks to a string of poor results and Wimbledon’s results not adding up to the player points – she was a quarterfinalist there – the Aussie stormed back during the US Open Swing.
She made the quarterfinals at Cincinnati Open and followed it up with a second successive Grand Slam last eight appearance when she did the same at the US Open. It also included a win over Serena Williams.
With those kind of results under her belt, Tomljanovic will hope she can continue that good form instead of relegating back to how things had been at the start of the year when she lost seven of the first 10 main draw matches.

Dart Finding Some Form in Patches
Dart is 26 years of age but it’s only in recent times has she found some form.
In fact it was in 2022 that the Brit finally broke into the top 100 of the rankings, getting to a career-best of 84th in the world before settling in on a season-ending rank of 98th.
It was her performances at the Indian Wells Open, where as a qualifier, Dart made the fourth round, and then again at Eastbourne where she was a quarterfinalist, which helped her shoot up the charts.
She didn’t quite end the season in the same way but main draw wins at five of the last six tournaments Dart featured in would have obviously helped boost up her confidence.
Tomljanovic v Dart Prediction and Tip
With Dart having defeated Tomljanovic as recently as the previous month, this might not be one-sided as the rankings or the odds represent. We could see three sets in the match.
