Stefanos Tsitsipas v Tallon Griekspoor Head to Head
World No. 4 Stefanos Tsitsipas has not played Tallon Griekspoor before this.

Tsitsipas Makes Light Work of Hijikata
Stefanos Tsitsipas booked his spot in the third round of the Australian Open with a dominant display of aggression and finesse. He took down Australian wild card Rinky Hijikata 6-3 6-0 6-2 in an hour and 32 minutes.
After a gutsy opening-round win over Quentin Halys, in which Tsitsipas was pushed to his limit, he had a more routine day at the office on a rain-interrupted Wednesday.
Tsitsipas didn’t even need to get through first gear, as he tormented Hijikata with his powerful serve (saved all five he faced in the match), which peaked at 130mph – the fastest in the match.
The Greek superstar hit 30 winners to 17 unforced errors, and converted six of nine break points. Tsitsipas has progressed to the semifinals in three of his last four appearances at the Australian Open.
But in that time span, he lost in the third round to Milos Raonic in 2020. Could big-hitting Griekspoor stun the third seed?

Griekspoor Upsets Countryman van de Zandschulp
Tallon Griekspoor reached the third round of the Australian Open for the first time at the expense of countryman Botic van de Zandschulp. He did so with a thoroughly deserved 6-4 6-4 6-4 win in just over two hours.
Griekspoor was the better player for most of the match which was momentarily interrupted due to rain. The 26-year-old Griekspoor broke van de Zanschulp twice in the first two sets, but it was a lot tighter in the third set.
Van de Zandschulp raced to a 2-0 lead, but it was short-lived as Griekspoor asserted his authority by outsmarting his countryman from the baseline with his accurate ground strokes and recovered the break.
And moments later, it was Griekspoor who went ahead in the third and rounded off the win on his first match point.
Tsitsipas v Griekspoor Prediction and Tip
This will be the ultimate test so far for Tallon Griekspoor. He is undefeated in seven matches since the turn of the year, winning his first ATP title in Pune leading to the Australian Open. But Tsitsipas has challenged himself at the highest level in the early weeks of the season and should end the Dutchman’s streak.
