Cameron Norrie v Jiri Lehecka Head to Head
Cameron Norrie leads Jiri Lehecka 2-0 in their head-to-head, winning both matches in three sets. The pair clashed most recently at the 2023 Auckland Open where Norrie won 6-4 6-7 6-3.

Norrie Overcomes Lestienne
Cameron Norrie was given a major test by France’s Constant Lestienne but emerged victorious in four engrossing sets to reach the third round of the Australian Open. The match took three hours and 13 minutes, finishing at half past one in the morning.
The two players exchanged the first two sets, with Lestienne going toe to toe against Norrie’s topspin forehand, and using his own topspin to thwart the Briton’s strengths.
Norrie was in deep trouble as his game began to leak unforced errors galore in the third set. He found himself 2-5 down and just two points away from losing the set.
But he produced an incredible comeback, converting a break point out of nowhere with a fierce forehand to level things up. The set went into a tiebreak where Lestienne could not quite keep with Norrie’s pace.
With the third set slipping, Lestienne dropped serve in a crucial game towards the end of the fourth set, giving Norrie the chance to seal the match. And the Briton duly delivered.

Lehecka Maintains Momentum With Eubanks Win
After his first-round stunner, Jiri Lehecka proved it was not a fluke when bested Borna Coric. He withheld the challenge of Christopher Eubanks, winning in four sets to reach the third round of the Australian Open.
Just like his opener, Lehecka came out all guns blazing, breaking the American’s big serve twice in quick succession in the first set. And although Eubanks recovered one of the breaks back, Lehecka made no mistake when he served for the set at the second attempt.
In the second set, it was Lehecka who kept Eubanks on his toes, returning the ball with interest and limiting the American to just two aces in the set. He garnered the crucial break to nudge ahead at 3-2 and did not let slip that lead.
Eubanks hit back to take the third set, but it was the young Czech who had the energy when the match went the distance. The physical toll weighed on Eubanks following his five-set win in the first round, and Lehecka wrapped up the fourth in 32 minutes.
Norrie v Lehecka Prediction and Tip
We’ve seen some cracks in Norrie’s game which can be exploited. So far, he has survived, perhaps more to do with his opponent’s inability to flip the switch. Lehecka pushed Norrie to three sets in Auckland a week ago, and he’s been hitting the ball dextrously and with purpose this week. It wouldn’t come as a shock if he masters another seed.
