JJ Wolf v Michael Mmoh Head to Head
While these two have never faced off at the highest level, they did play each other on the Challenger circuit on two separate occasions. Both times, it was Wolf who came up trumps.

Wolf Sends Schwartzman Packing
Having never before made it to the main draw at the Australian Open, Wolf has now won back to back matches to enter the third round of this tournament. And in the second round, he crushed the woefully out-of-sorts Diego Schwartzman in a mere hour and 44 minutes to march forward.
Wolf, who had needed four sets against the local guy Jordan Thompson in the first round, registered a 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 win over Schwartzman.
Slamming 16 aces and hitting 31 winners past his opponent, Wolf didn’t face a single break-point even as his first serve figures soared to 83% win. In turn he also broke the Argentine four times in the match, including twice in the first set.
Having made a second round exit at the Auckland Open last week, Wolf will be mighty chuffed with his performance here and will give himself a reasonably good chance to enter round four after his draw was cleared by the ouster of Alexander Zverev.

Mmoh Gives Zverev No Respite
A loss in the third round of the qualifiers hasn’t dampened Mmoh’s enthusiasm. It did not dampen it when he fell two sets to love down in his opener against Laurent Lokoli, and then again it did not cause any stir when the American was down a set to Alexander Zverev in the second round.
Because the American came back and won the next three sets to wade into the third round.
Mmoh shrugged his lack of experience and the difference in the ranking aside to register a 6-7 (1), 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 win over an opponent ranked nearly 100 places ahead of him.
After having denied Zverev as he served for the first set, Mmoh lost the ensuing tie-breaker but from there on never fell behind in the match. Sure, he was broken in the second and the fourth set but not before he had himself dented his opponent’s serve.
It was Mmoh’s ability to keep the unforced errors down to a mere 35 as compared to Zverev’s 58 that helped in no small way as the American went on to stun the former US Open runner-up.
Can he now give Wolf a run too?
Wolf v Mmoh Prediction and Tip
Wolf is right in front of things in this one and can be expected to win this in three or four sets. Mmoh’s serving might help him land a few punches though.
