Caroline Garcia v Alycia Parks
The best possible final in Lyon will happen as native player Garcia takes on Parks. Both of them have been spectacular this week beating all opponents comfortably. Parks has been quite amazing on indoor hard courts since last year posting a 22-3 record since last year.
Garcia has been winning matches for a long time and she is currently enjoying the best stretch in her career. She’s played like a top 10 player so far this week beating players without even playing her best tennis. She’ll need a bit more tomorrow because this will be tough.
They played once before and Garcia one that one. It was a very close match and I do think we’ll get something like that tomorrow. Garcia has yet to play her best so far this week and it would be ideal if she does tomorrow. I would not count on it as I think it will go into three sets.
I do think Garcia wins it in the end but not in two.
Tip: Garcia to win in three sets: 7/2 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
Lin Zhu v Lesia Tsurenko
It’s not the final that was expected to happen but both of these players played really well to make this a deserving final. Zhu has been going strong ever since finding some amazing form in Melbourne and she’s largely cruised so far this week.
The same can be said for Tsurenko who has been smashing players the entire week and her game is far more powerful than that of Zhu. Don’t discount the Chinese player because of that as she fights for every point and stay in all rallies.
She might wear down Tsurenko but it will be very hard. The only previous meeting was won by Tsurenko. Since then Zhu improved so I think we’ll see more battle out of there tomorrow.
I think Zhu is the player to back here but the over on the games is another solid option. I could see this going to three sets but Zhu has been so good and I have to side with her.
Tip: Over 22.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
Stefanos Tsitsipas v Andres Andrade
Stefanos Tsitsipas is shouldering much of the burden in the Davis Cup for Greece and this match will be another crucial one. The opponent is one that he should beat comfortably, especially with a chance to play in Athens in front of his native fans.
He started really well this year with a 10-1 record losing only to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open final. Going back home and being able to play in front of his native is a good way to heal those scars. He did well in the first match giving Greece the point.
He will need to do so again but it should not be a problem against a player that is currently ranked outside of the top 50. I think he will win this comfortably like the 7-5 6-2 victory the previous day. The handicap on him looks like a good option.
Tip: Games Handicap Tsitsipas -5.5: 4/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
