Marton Fucsovics v Geoffrey Blancaneaux Head to Head
The pair have played each other once before, in the first round of the French Open last year, Fucsovics winning in straight sets.

Fucsovics Returns to Montpellier After Nine Year Absence
This is the first time that Fucsovics has returned to Montpellier since 2014, but he will not have warm memories of his last visit here – he was beaten in qualifying.
The Hungarian number one made an encouraging start to the season, winning a Challenger event in Canberra, beating Leandro Riedl of Switzerland in the final.
However, he failed to qualify for Auckland, well beaten by the Dutch veteran Robin Haase.
At the Australian Open he reached the third round, beating Federico Coria of Argentina and Lloyd Harris of South Africa, and a significant victory appeared in his grasp when he took a two set lead against Jannik Sinner.
Unfortunately for him, the Italian fought back and won the match in five sets.
Subsequent to that he played for his country in their Davis Cup tie against France, beating Ugo Humbert, but losing to Adrian Mannarino, both results in straight sets.

Injury Hit Blancaneaux Looking for Maiden Main Tour Win
Blancaneaux has had his fair share of injury problems in his career, and, there were times during last season when it looked as if he might have to call it quits altogether.
However, he managed to battle on, and even managed to win an ITF title, although it does not look now like he will ever manage to fulfil the potential he showed when he won the boys’ singles title at the French Open in 2016, when he beat Felix Augur Aliassime in the final.
This will be his first appearance in Montpellier since 2015, but he has never won a main draw match on the senior tour, having lost his previous four attempts.
One of those defeats was at the hands of Fucsovics in the French Open last year.
He has earned another shot at the Hungarian, though, by defeating first Alexey Vatuitin and then compatriot Arthur Cazaux, both in three sets, in the qualifying competition.
Fucsovics v Blancaneaux Prediction and Tip
Having home court advantage conferred no significant benefit on Blancaneaux when these two met in the French Open last year, and it is likely to have little effect on the outcome this time round either.
Fucsovics should be too strong for him.
