Martina Trevisan v Karolina Muchova Head to Head
The pair have played each other before, in Doha just a few weeks ago, Muchova winning in straight sets for the loss of just five games.

Trevisan came into this tournament off the back of a poor run of form, not having won a match all year since beating Maria Sakkari in a United Cup tie in early January.
Although she was given a first round bye, she would not have been full of confidence going into her match with the American, Madison Brengle, the world number 87.
In the first set, it looked like being the same old story. Service breaks came and went for both women, but, in the end, it was Brengle who was able to capitalise and take the set.
A marathon game early in the second set proved to be a turning point, with the Italian breaking after having seen five earlier break points back.
The confidence began to return, and she broke Brengle again next game. The American recovered one of them, but promptly dropped her serve again, and Trevisan served out to love.
An early break put the Italian in charge of the third set, and she reinforced her position with another one. Again Brengle got one of them back, but any hopes she may have had of a comeback were swiftly ended as she dropped her own serve once more.
Trevisan wrapped up proceedings next game.

Muchova Beats Azarenka
Muchova is making her debut at Indian Wells, but she has impressed by beating two higher ranked players so far.
She began by getting the better of Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan, the world number 42, in a match that went to three sets.
Her reward was a second round match with the 14th seed, and former world number one, Victoria Azarenka, a previous winner of this tournament.
It was Muchova who gained an early advantage with the first break of the match, but she could not hold on to it, as Azarenka broke back.
The pair swapped breaks again and the first set went to a tie-break, during the course of which the world number 14’s form temporarily disappeared, and the Czech took it easily.
Again Azarenka was broken at the start of the second set, and again she hit back to level. This time, though, she was broken again immediately, and Muchova was not in the mood to offer more chances.
She closed out the match, sealing the victory with her fourth match point.
Trevisan v Muchova Prediction and Tip
Although Trevisan is the higher ranked player, she has just ended a terrible run of form which included a comprehensive defeat at the hands of Muchova in Doha. The Czech is playing with confidence in her first visit to Indian Wells, and is heavily tipped to reach the fourth round.
