Cameron Norrie v Frances Tiafoe Head to Head
There has been one previous meeting at the highest level between these two and it came at the 2021 Delray Beach Open. Norrie had won that quarterfinal in three sets.

The rankings and the bookmakers odds, both pointed to a win for his opponent when Norrie took on Andrey Rublev but somehow the Brit managed to come through without any trouble.
Norrie needed a mere hour and 16 minutes to defeat Rublev in their fourth round match to enter the quarterfinal of this tournament for the third successive year.
Notably played on some of the slowest hardcourt surfaces around, Norrie used that to his advantage having only recently featured in the clay court swing in South America. He endured two breaks of serves and eight aces from Rublev to clinch his place in the last eight 6-2, 6-4.

Tiafoe Has No Worries against Tabilo
Tiafoe has been blessed by a superb draw so far and to be fair to him, he has taken full advantage of that.
For the third successive time, following an opening round bye, he averted playing a seeded played or any other player of note and ensured there would be no hiccups in getting past him.
The American defeated Alejandro Tabilo 6-4, 6-4 in a match lasting an hour and 23 minutes following a slightly slowish start to the proceedings.
He had fallen 3-0 down in the first set with a break of serve going against him but followed it up with a couple of break backs. In the second it was Tiafoe who made it 2-0, having won eight of the previous nine games before settling in on a good serving routine and easing to a win.
Earlier, Tiafoe had overcome Marcos Giron and Jason Kubler in straight sets as well on his way to his first ever appearance at the fourth round of this tournament.
The question is if he can now use that confidence to make life very difficult on court for his quarterfinal opponent.
