Jessica Pegula v Katherine Sebov Head to Head
No previous matches have been played between Pegula and Sebov before this.

Solid Pegula Surprised at Indian Wells Open
Her overall record this season would have given Pegula much joy. Sure she would have liked to win a singles title – she did win the United Cup for her country – but a 15-5 win-loss isn’t something to scoff at, even when you are ranked third in the world.
The only blip here was her relatively early exit from the Indian Wells Open last week where Pegula crashed out of the tournament in the fourth round.
What made that result worse was Pegula frittered away four match-points in that match against Petra Kvitova before losing 13-11 in the final set tie-breaker.
Pegula did have a few issues before that too though at the Indian Wells Open. She was down a set in each of her previous two encounters against Camila Giorgi and Anastasia Potapova before turning things around in those matches.
Can she earn herself a more straightforward result here?

Sebov Shocks Fruhvirtova
Ranked 172nd in the world, Sebov hadn’t quite had too many results go her way but there have been times she has looked far better than what her rank suggests.
This is what we had thought in our first round preview of Sebov’s match against the overwhelming favourite Linda Fruhvirtova. While Fruhvirtova was admittedly still our pick to win it, there were signs that Sebov would be no pushover.
As it turned out, Sebov not only gave her Czech opponent a fight, but also carved up a win.
Qualifier Sebov won 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 to make it to the second round where she will face an even sterner test in the form of Pegula.
Earlier this season Sebov had won an ITF title to help her jump to a career-best ranking of 172nd in the world. With this second round appearance here, whatever the result of this match, she would have broken into the top 150 for the first time.
Pegula v Sebov Prediction and Tip
Sebov might be in some sort of form but can she overcome a player of the pedigree of Pegula? We think the American should still be way stronger than her opponent here.
Tips:
- Low Risk Tip: Pegula to win in straight sets: 1/2 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
- Moderate Risk Tip: Under 20.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with 888Sport)
