Gregoire Barrere v Christopher Eubanks Head to Head
This will be a first tour level meeting between the two. They met once at the U.S. Open qualifying last year, which Eubanks won in three sets with all the sets being decided in a tiebreak.

Making his debut at the Miami Open this year, Gregoire Barrere has been pretty impressive so far.
The world no. 65 first won a three-set contest against Russia’s Roman Safiullin to register his first-ever ATP 1000 victory and then he knocked out the 11th seed Cameron Norrie on Saturday to keep his chances alive in teh tournament.
Barrere needed just over an hour to dispatch the in-form world no. 12, 6-3, 6-3.
The Frenchman served seven aces and did not face a single break point in the match against Norrie. He also struck 21 winners to just six from the 11th seed.
Barrere had 8 chances to break Norrie’s serve in the match and he broke the Briton once in the first set and twice in the second.
Barrere is now 6-6 on the tour and he improved his overall season record to 16-8. He won his sixth Challenger title earlier this year in Quimper.
It will be interesting to see if the 29-year-old continues to build on the dream start.

Eubanks Rallies Past 17th Seed Coric
Christopher Eubanks got the biggest win of his career so far as he knocked out world no. 20 Borna Coric to move into the third round of a Masters 1000 tournament for the first time in his career.
The qualifier, who was impressive in his straight sets win over fellow American Denis Kudla, needed two hours and six minutes to score a comeback win over the Croatian on Saturday.
Coric broke in the first and last games of the opening set to take a one-set-to-love lead. He also built a 0-2 lead in the second before Eubanks began the turnaround. The world no. 119 broke twice to take the second and then raced to a 4-0 lead in the final set before finally winning the contest 3-6, 6-4, 6-2.
Eubanks, who had beaten Abedallah Shelbayh in the first qualifying round and Lukáš Klein in a three-set second qualifier, improved his season record to 10-7 across levels.
Before his run in Miami, the 26-year-old had won just two main draw matches this year, one in Auckland and the other at the Australian Open.
Barrere v Eubanks Prediction and Tip
The last time they met it was a very close affair. Once again, they are expected to be involved in an edge-of-the-seat battle.
Barrere is more experienced and has beaten some big players throughout the season, including Cameron Norrie, who has been in red hot form recently. Plus he has also beaten John Isner, Alexander Bublik, Marc Andrea Huesler and David Goffin (all top 50 players) this season. So Barrere will go into this contest with slight edge over Eubanks.
