Adrian Mannarino v Christopher Eubanks Head to Head
This will be the first time that the 34-year-old Mannarino and the 26-year-old Eubanks will face off in a competitive encounter.

After needing three sets in his first round win over Juncheng Shang, Mannarino wasn’t expected to do a lot more damage in Miami. Especially after he drew to face Ben Shelton in the second round and was on the path of Hubert Hurkacz in the third.
As it turned out, he first took out Shelton in three sets before shocking the world number nine Hurkacz in a couple of tie-breakers to make it to the fourth round here for the first time since 2017.
The Frenchman needed two hours and 20 minutes to find a way past his Polish opponent, enduring 20 aces off his racquet in the process. In a terribly close first set, neither players earned a break of serve and it was Mannarino’s extra mini-break that helped him clinch the ensuing tie-breaker.
The second set saw Hurkacz overcome the Mannarino serve to love in the very first game but once the Frenchman levelled things off in the sixth game, a tie-breaker beckoned again. This time around, it was Mannarino who went bonkers, breaking his opponent’s serve four times and won it to love.
Can he now make it to the quarterfinals here for the first time in his career?

Eubanks Continues Brilliant Run
Having never seen the top 100 of the rankings next to his name, Eubanks needed to come through in the qualifiers to make it to the main draw this season again. For the first time, however, Eubanks won a match in Miami last week when he overcame fellow American Denis Kudla in the first round.
It was also just his third win in an ATP 1000 competition.
This was followed by a stunning victory over the 2/5 favourite Borna Coric in the second round and then in the third, Eubanks usurped Gregoire Barrere.
Barrere was an 8/11 favourite here, but Eubanks found a way to come through, winning 6-3, 7-6 (7) in an hour and 22 minutes. What made the win more special was he needed to save five set-points in the second after he fell 2-6 behind, but he did just that and won it off his first match-point.
Can he now overturn the experienced Mannarino and make a shock last eight entry?

This could be an interesting one but the youth and rhythm of Eubanks makes him our pick for this encounter. Might see a three-setter.
