Jessica Pegula v Anastasia Potapova
Jessica Pegula would like to do a lot better than what she has been doing all season. I mean she has been consistent but as a world number three has she managed to do as well as she would have liked? I doubt.
The good news for her is she is taking on a player she has faced and beaten three times in the past.
Anastasia Potapova, however, should not be a pushover given her run in the competition which has already seen her defeat three successive match favourites. Cori Gauff was one of them and more recently, Potapova overcame Qinwen Zheng.
We still think Pegula has the game to get past Potapova but it won’t be without a fight.

Stefanos Tsitsipas v Karen Khachanov
What had started off as a solid season for Stefanos Tsitsipas looks to have been derailed a little. He will be back, sure, but for now it doesn’t look like the Greek number one is in his best rhythm.
On the other hand, Karen Khachanov hasn’t ever beaten Tsitsipas but has had a good year so far. Even here in Miami, the Russian has already seen off Jiri Lehecka, a player many tipped to be one to watch this year.
What that did was to take Khachanov through to the fourth round for the first time ever in Miami. The question is if he can now defeat Tsitsipas for the first time in his career and while that may or may not happen, what we think could happen is a hard-fought encounter.

Adrian Mannarino v Christopher Eubanks
This is an interesting and almost an unfathomable match-up. Not too many would have expected these two to make it through to the fourth round in a section of the draw which contained Hubert Hurkacz, Cameron Norrie, Borna Coric and Ben Shelton, not to mention Thanasi Kokkinakis as well.
But here they are, and one of them will be going on to enter the last eight stage of the tournament as well!
Our money is on Eubanks here because of the value his odds provide. Between the two of them there isn’t much to choose but at 6/5, Eubanks looks like an attractive pick with his younger legs also helping him here.
