Bernarda Pera has had a mixed year as well, but that has not stopped her from reaching her career-best ranking at the 37th spot – only last week.
She is now 7-8, following a shocking first-round loss to Evgeniya Rodina in Miami. She did, however, reach the doubles semifinal with Magda Linette.
