Karen Khachanov v Constant Lestienne Head to Head

Khachanov Is 17-6 at the French Open
After reaching back-to-back Grand Slam semifinals, Karen Khachanov will be heading to Roland Garros with hopes of making it three in a row.
The Russian had reached his first ever major semifinal at the U.S. Open last year. He also made it to the final four at the Australian Open this year.
If he reaches that far at this year’s French Open, he will have bettered his previous best at Roland Garros, which was a quarterfinal finish in 2019. Overall, Khachanov has a decent record at the Paris major, having reached at least the fourth round on five of his previous six attempts.
Only once did he go out before the round of 16 and that was in 2021, when he was beaten in the second round. Last year, he lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the fourth round.
Khachanov goes into this year’s tournament with a 19-10 overall record and a 6-4 record on clay. His best effort on clay this season saw him reach the last eight in Madrid, but it was Alcaraz again who prevented him from going further.
Can Khachanov get his campaign off to a wining start? He knows the conditions well and has been conditions in his past appearance at Roland Garros, so expect the world no. 11 to begin well.

Lestienne To Make His Main Draw Debut at Roland Garros
Facing Khachanov will be world no. 69 Constant Lestienne, who will be making his main draw debut at Roland Garros.
The 31-year-old Frenchman, who lost in the qualifying rounds in all his previous seven tries, doesn’t come into his maiden French Open in good form. He is currently 4-10 on the tour and 6-11 overall this season.
On clay, Lestienne is yet to win a match this season, having lost all four so far. One of those four was a qualifying round match in Monte Carlo, while the other three defeats came in the first rounds in Estoril, Munich and Rome respectively. In Rome he was trailing Laslo Djere 1-6 when he withdrew from the contest.
A semifinalist in Auckland at the start of the season, Lestienne has been in woeful form this year, having not won a main draw match since winning his first round match at the Australian Open. That is eight first round exits in a row. Can a maiden appearance in his home major lift his spirits?
Khachanov v Lestienne Prediction and Tip

Tips:
- Low Risk Tip: Khachanov to win: 1/10
