The fourth round action at the 2023 French Open will kick-start from Sunday, June 4 with some of the top men’s and women’s players in action. Get all French Open tips and predictions for the day for matches involving Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka among others.

Elise Mertens will be the first to take to court for her fourth round match as she takes on Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova at the Philippe-Chatrier Court. A former runner-up here, Pavlyuchenkova has turned things around over the last few days as she looks to get back into her former best after an injury layoff.

Novak Djokovic might have had a couple of fitness issues but his opponents haven’t been able to do too much to disrupt his stint in the tournament so far. He will take on the unseeded Juan Pablo Varillas in his fourth round match.

While the world number one Carlos Alcaraz has dropped a set in the tournament, it does look like he continues to be the player to beat. He has an interesting match-up against Lorenzo Musetti in round four.

Also in action at this main court will be the world number two Aryna Sabalenka who faces the surprisingly consistent Sloane Stephens in their round of 16 encounter. Sabalenka has grown as a tennis player on clay and her form on this surface this season makes her a second favourite to clinch the title.

Over at the Suzanne-Lenglen, Karen Khachanov will be in for a tough battle with Lorezon Sonego while Karolina Muchova faces surprise entrant Elina Avanesyan.

Daria Kasatkina will then face Elina Svitolina, who like Pavlyuchenkova, is a former top-10 player, is coming off a layoff and beginning to do well again. And following this will be Stefanos Tsitsipas who is one of the dark horses to win the French Open title and he faces Sebastian Ofner in his match.
