Lorenzo Musetti has played four matches on grass over his career and the Italian has lost all four of them.
Musetti’s first defeat came in the first round in Wimbledon in 2021. He played in three grass court tournaments last year making first round exits from Stuttgart, Queen’s Club and Wimbledon. He is not just 0-4 on the surface but has lost all the 10 sets that he has played so far.

Musetti comes into the tournament with a 16-13 record in 2023. He had a pretty good run on clay, reaching the semifinals in Barcelona and also making it to the fourth round of the French Open.

World no. 104 Borna Gojo rallied from a set down on consecutive days over the weekend to qualify for his first grass court tournament on the tour.
The Croatian defeated Germany’s Mats Rosenkranz 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 on Saturday and then followed it up with another come from behind victory on Sunday, this time over Switzerland’s Antoine Bellier.
After losing the first set 5-7, Gojo edged the second in the tiebreak and then got the solitary break of the final set to win the second qualifying round 5-7, 7-6, 6-2 in two hours and 16 minutes.
Gojo won 88% points on his first serve against Bellier and struck 29 winners in the match.
With the win, he improved his season record to 29-14 across levels. He was a finalist in two Challenger tournaments this year, finishing runner-up in Monterrey (hard) and Murcia (clay),
