The 25-year-old Slovak Republic player is 16-17 across levels this year, with her best performance being a quarterfinal finish in Auckland at the start of the season. She was also a finalist at the ITF Talinn 2 in January but has seen a dip in form ever since.
As a result of her struggles over the last six months, Hruncakova has seen a fall in the rankings, and has fallen 25 places since January 16.
Currently ranked no. 144, Hruncakova will be looking to climb back the rankings.
A former top 50 player, the Slovak has not won a main draw match on grass since winning her quarterfinal in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in 2018. Can she end a five-year drought on Tuesday.

World no. 388 Susan Bandecchi made it to the main draw with back-to-back three-set wins in the qualifying rounds.
The Swiss ousted Belgium’s Magali Kempen 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 in the first qualifying round on Saturday and then knocked out Japan’s Mai Hontama 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 in the second qualifying round on Sunday.
The 24-year-old Bandecchi saved 5 of 11 break points and converted 7 of 15 to beat the Japanese in two hours an 16 minutes.
Both of Bandecchi’s wins in the qualifying rounds came against top 200 players.
Bandecchi is 14-13 this season and will be playing her first WTA main draw match on Tuesday. At the ITF level she has two semifinal finishes this year.
