Adrian Mannarino v Jordan Thompson Head to Head
Mannarino has dominated the rivalry and has a 4-1 lead over the Aussie. They have met on grass on three occasions and the French player has won all three of those contests, including the 2019 Rosmalen Open final, which he won in straight sets.
Thompson’s only win over Mannarino came in Sydney in 2019, while this year they met once before, in Dallas, with Mannarino winning in straight sets.

Adrian Mannarino came back from a set down to knock out the top seed Daniil Medvedev in the second round of the Rosmalen Open on Thursday.
The world no. 52, who lost to Medvedev in the semifinal of this tournament last year, got his revenge with a 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory in two hours.
With the win, Mannarino improved his head-to-head record against Medvedev to 4-2. It was also the second time he beat the Russian in s-Hertogenbosch, having also beaten him in the second round in 2016.
Mannarino, who had beaten compatriot Arthur Fils 7-6 (7-1), 6-4, converted 5 of 6 break points and saved 4 of 7 during his match against Medvedev.
With the win, the 34-year-old lefty improved his season record to 16-17. He had a torrid time on clay, but would happy that the clay season is behind him now and he is back on a surface where he has enjoyed a fair amount of success.
Mannarino has played three of his 11 finals on grass and has won one of his two titles on the surface.
This will be his fifth quarterfinal appearance in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Can the Frenchman reach a third semifinal?

Thompson Downs Raonic
Jordan Thompson knocked out Milos Raonic in the second round on Thursday to reach a second quarterfinal at ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Playing for the first time in the Rosmalen Open since his runner-up finish in 2019, Thompson is off to a solid start. The world no. 103 had defeated Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard 6-4, 7-6 in the first round and then he registered another straight sets win on Thursday, ousting Raonic 7-6 (7-4), 6-1.
Thompson was not broken in the match by the Canadian as he saved both the break points that he faced. He himself held four break points in the match and he succeeded in converting half of them.
The Australian had come into the tournament with a poor 3-9 record at the tour level, but the two wins has improved those numbers to 5-9 on the tour and 24-14 across levels, which includes two Challenger titles and a run to the semifinal in Surbiton last week.
Mannarino v Thompson Prediction and Tip
Mannarino has dominated this rivalry, he will also be high on confidence after taking down the top seed. Expect the former champion to reach the semifinals for the second year in a row.
