Carlos Alcaraz v Grigor Dimitrov Head to Head

Alcaraz Eases Past Lehecka
After surviving an opening round scare on Tuesday, Carlos Alcaraz looked in his elements in round 2 as he sailed past the Czech Republic’s Jiri Lehecka in a straights sets on Thursday.
Alcaraz saved all three of the break points that he faced in the match, while he broke the world no. 36 thrice from nine breaking chances to win the one-hour-and-27-minute contest 6-2, 6-3.
The 20-year-old world no. 2 had a difficult start to the tournament, needing two hours and 37 minutes to beat world no. 83 Arthur Rinderknech 4-6, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3).
Alcaraz has been in terrific form this year, wining the titles in Buenos Aires, Indian Wells, Barcelona and Madrid. He finished runner-up in Rio and made it to the final four stage at the French Open and the Miami Open.
On Friday, he could reach his maiden semifinal on grass courts. This is already the first time when Alcaraz has made it to a quarterfinal on grass. He has not played much on the surface and will be looking to continue the winning. streak.

2014 champion Grigor Dimitrov is into the fourth quarterfinal at Queen’s after the Bulgarian knocked out eighth seed Francisco Cerundolo in straight sets in the second round.
After getting the solitary break in the first set, Dimitrov got an early break in the second, but Cerundolo drew level soon only to see the Bulgarian get a second break in the set which sealed the match 6-3, 7-5.
The world no. 26 had to qualify for the main draw this year and he has won all four of his matches in straights sets so far.
Dimitrov defeated Aleksandar Vukic and Arthur Rinderknech in the the qualifying rounds and carried that form to the main draw, defeating Emil Ruusuvuori 6-2, 6-4 in the first round.
Dimitrov has been in good form throughout this season and a 23-11 season record is a testament to that.
Can he continue his impressive run in Queen’s, where he won the title in 2014 and was a semifinalist in 2012 and 2017.
