Albert Ramos-Vinolas v Alexander Bublik Head to Head
The pair have played each other three times before, and Bublik has won each time.
In 2017 he won on indoor hard courts in Moscow and, again, three years later on the clay of Hamburg.
His most recent victory was also on indoor hard courts in Basel.

Ramos-Vinolas Happiest on Clay
Ramos-Vinolas is a classic Spanish clay court player. All but one of his senior finals, and all of his victories have come on clay.
And it is no coincidence that his best result in a Grand Slam was his quarter-final appearance at the French Open, reaching the fourth round there the following year.
His record at Wimbledon is more modest, although he has twice reached the third round there.
Not that he has chosen to prepare for this year’s Championship in the optimal way – this, in fact, will be his first match this season on grass.
Instead, he has chosen to stay on clay, playing on the Challenger circuit in Italy, where he played in back to back tournaments in Perugia.
First time round he was knocked out in the second round, improving on that by reaching the quarter final at his second attempt.

Halle Finalist Bublik
Bublik has decent grass court credentials, having twice reached the third round of Wimbledon, and having reached the final of the Hall of Fame Championship in Newport Beach last year.
And now he has another grass court final to look forward to after beating the number nine seed Alexander Zverev in straight sets in Halle, to book a date with Andrey Rublev.
It has been a fine week for the Kazakh, who began his campaign in Germany by beating the 2018 champion Borna Coric.
He then beat one of the in-form men on tour in the form of Jan-Lennard Struff, before he enjoyed a slice of luck, Jannik Sinner retiring from their quarter-final clash with injury, although Bublik was a set and a break to the good at the time.
There was nothing lucky about how he beat Zverev though, and he is a man who is to be avoided in the early rounds of Wimbledon next week.
Ramos-Vinolas v Bublik Prediction and Tip
There would appear to be only one winner in this match.
Not only has Bublik won all of their previous encounters, but he is an experienced grass court player who has his eye in on the surface, whereas Ramos-Vinolas much prefers clay.
Tips:
- Low Risk Tip: Bublik to win: 2/7
- Moderate Risk Tip: Under 19.5 games in the match: 5/6
