Alize Cornet v Emma Navarro Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before.
This will be the first match between the 33 year old Frenchwoman, and the American, eleven years her junior.

Cornet Too Strong for Italian
Cornet demonstrated her grass court capabilities in Nottingham recently when she reached the semi-final there, and she proved too strong for her first round opponent in Germany on the surface, the Italian Martina Trevisan.
It was actually Trevisan who made the better start, finishing on the right end of three successive dropped service games to lead by a break.
But she then lost two successive games to love as Cornet turned the set on its head, eventually serving out.
The pair swapped breaks at the start of the second set, but, when Trevisan dropped her serve again, there was only going to be one winner, but Cornet broke her again for good measure.

Navarro Dominates Argentine
As part of her Wimbledon warm-up, Navarro dropped down to the ITF tour last week, reaching the final in Ilkley before eventually losing to the Swede Mirjam Bjorkland.
And, from the evidence of her first round, she has brought some of that form to Germany, although it does need to be framed in the context of her opponent, Nadia Podoroska of Argentina, being very much a clay court player.
Still, the American made very short work of the world number 78, breezing through the first set for the loss of just two games.
It was an even more one-sided contest in the second set, Podoroska failing to get on the score sheet.
The American would have had few easier days at the office.
Cornet v Navarro Prediction and Tip
Navarro should not be underestimated on grass, as her performances last week and against Podoroska demonstrated. But Cornet is an experienced competitor, and at home on the surface herself, and she should have the tools to progress.
Tips:
- Low Risk Tip: Cornet to win: 8/11
- Moderate Risk Tip: Under 21.5 games in the match: 1/1
