The second edition of the Tennis Premier League will be played in India in 2019 as some of the top players in the country take to court to feature in the competition that is looking to unearth some serious tennis talent in the country. What is the Tennis Premier League?
It is one of the biggest tennis initiatives that is meant to touch the grassroots tennis and was first played in October 2018. According to the official website, there were 500+ entries to feature in the opening edition and a total of 132 players featured in the first season. The second season will be played in Andheri in Mumbai, going up from six teams to eight for this edition. There will be eight wheelchair players who will participate in this second edition of the Tennis Premier League as well.

This second edition of the Tennis Premier League is expected to be broadcast live on Sony ESPN channel in India. This also means the live streaming rights of the competition are with SONLIV app or can be watched live with SonyLiv.com in India. You need to be a subscribed member obviously.
