Since then, till the time of writing this, Humbert has only improved each year. In 2018, Humbert added three more Futures titles to his kitty but more vitally also three Challenger tournament wins and doubled his Challenger count in 2019 with another three.
And in 2020, in a season when most of everyone else were struggling to get used to the longish break because of the pandemic, Humbert carved out a couple of ATP title victories, one on each side of the pandemic break to finish the year ranked a career-best of 30th.

Late in the season, Humbert then made it to the quarterfinal of the Paris Masters, his first ever appearance in the last-eight stage of a Masters tournament.
Having reached the fourth round at the 2019 Wimbledon and beaten a top-10 player in the form of Daniil Medvedev on clay in Hamburg, the Frenchman is establishing himself as an all-surface player already.
