General Tips for Betting on the WTA Finals
Some of the points to be noted before betting on the WTA Finals 2023 are:
- The WTA Finals is a round-robin competition which means it gives players a second – and a third! – chance even if they lose a match unlike most other tennis tournaments which knock players out of the tournament the moment they lose.
- It’s played at the end of the season by when players are typically exhausted and in more recent times, the top-ranked player hasn’t necessarily gone on to win the title. Since 2015, only one top seed/world number one has won the WTA Finals title.
- Since the number of sets and number of games won also play a part in deciding a player’s spot on the points table, there’s always that fight till the very end even when a set or match seems to be lost.
