What Happened at the 2019 WTA Swiss Open?
The 2019 WTA Swiss Open was won by Fiona Ferro, who needed three sets to get past Alize Cornet. Cornet was the defending champion and the third seed, having come into the finale as a favourite but Ferro shocked her in three sets to win the title.
Strangely none of the other seeded players, Cornet aside, even won two matches.
