Following a poor showing in the US Open Series, Kiki Bertens arrived in New York with a lack of momentum. However, over the course of the week, she managed to find her course with a couple of impressive wins over Paula Badosa and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
With the St. Petersburg Open and Madrid Open titles already under her belt, she will be looking to add more titles. In addition to those two, she was also the finalist in the Rosemalen Championships and Palermo Open.
