Djokovic Has No Issues in Opener
A poor clay court beginning for Djokovic this season, having gotten knocked out in the third round at the Monte Carlo Masters, did not prevent him from going berserk in his opener in Belgrade. Starting out with a first round bye, Djokovic crushed Korea’s Soon-woo Kwon in the second to march into the quarterfinals.
Djokovic won 6-1, 6-3, needing just 70 minutes to get past his opponent. The first set went to script with Djokovic breaking twice in the first two games before Kwon finally managed to hold serve.
The second set saw Djokovic repeat the dose with a couple of breaks from the first three games, before Kwon tried to mount bit of a fightback with a break back. Djokovic was having none of it though and broke Kwon for the fifth time in the match to complete the win.
With this win, Djokovic would hope to put that Dan Evans defeat at the Monte-Carlo Masters behind him. Now for him to overcame a fellow countryman in his home tournament.

Kecmanovic Needs Three Sets
After having needed two tie-breakers against Facundo Bagnis in the first round, Kecmanovic was left struggling in his second round encounter but came through in three sets to set up this meeting against Djokovic.
Facing Frenchman and 129th-ranked Arthur Rinderknech in the round of 16, Kecmanovic overcame the shock loss of the second set to complete a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 victory. Kecmanovic was on court for an hour and 43 minutes to come through.
After an initial hold from Kecmanovic, the duo was involved in five successive service breaks in the first set, the last of which ensured Kecmanovic got the upper hand. Rinderknech responded in kind with back to back breaks of serve and a 5-0 lead in the second set before settling the set 6-3.
The third set was a cagier affair with the only break-point coming in the second game and Kecmanovic converting it. From that point onward, the Serb dropped just a couple of points on serve before serving out for the match and completing the victory.
Djokovic v Kecmanovic Prediction and Tip
Kecmanovic can expect no mercy from Djokovic but can he push his opponent to a third set? Looks unlikely but at 10/3 those are tempting odds for Kecmanovic to do that.
Tip: Kecmanovic to win a set – Yes: 10/3 (bet365)
