Elena Rybakina v Magda Linette Head to Head

Coming into the Ostrava Open after mixed results in her recent events — a last-16 finish at the Cincinnati Masters followed by a third-round exit at the US Open — Rybakina drew Veronika Kudermetova of Russia in the tournament opener.

Linette Fights Past Dodin

Coming into the Ostrava Open on the back of semifinal finish at the Cleveland Championships and an agonizing first-round exit at the US Open, Linette had hoped for a strong start in the tournament ad then take it from there.

While her campaign didn’t exactly get off to the kind of start that she had expected, the 59th-ranked Linette did enough to get past her opponent in the opening round.
