Belinda Bencic v Elena Malogina Head to Head
There has been no previous meeting between Bencic and Malogina before this.

Bencic Returns after Early US Open Exit
She did make it to the third round at the US Open, the last tournament Belinda featured in but would have liked to go further down the road there given her form all year.
That said, it must be quickly added that Bencic was ousted by Karolina Pliskova in that round, who herself hasn’t been in great form. It only added to the surprise because it happened after the Swiss number one was a set up.
Overall, Bencic could have done better than her 5-3 win-loss during the US Open Series and hopefully the break 20-odd day break between that and this tournament would have given her some time to mull over what can she do to get back to her best.
Probably even break into the top 10 and further up, especially as far as the Race to the WTA Finals is concerned.
Bencic could start with a smooth performance here to clinch the opening round encounter against the local wildcard entrant.

Malogina More Pronounced on the ITF Circuit
Malogina’s career-best ranking has been 396th, an indicator how difficult things could get coming up against Bencic in this opening round match.
Then again, for a player who has never featured in the main draw of a WTA tournament, it could be a case of participating being more important than actually winning the encounter.
With three ITF titles under her belt, Malogina does have the basic game in place to help her compete but the big question is whether that would be enough to get going. The answer could lie in the fact that while Malogina has done well on the ITF circuit, she has played a sum total of 17 matches on outdoor hard court surface.
And just four over the last couple of years.
Things could get really tight for the Estonian player.
Bencic v Malogina Prediction and Tip
Bencic starts off as an overwhelming favourite to not just win it but to also do that with consummate despite whatever support that Malogina might get from the locals.
Tip: Bencic to win AND Under 18.5 games: 1/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
