Kamilla Rakhimova v Eva Lys Head to Head

She had reached a career-high ranking of 90th in the world last year as a 20-year-old player but things this yea have careened in a direction that Rakhimova might not like.
The Russian has fallen to 115th in the world thanks to her no-show at all the four tournaments she participated in this year.
Rakhimova fell in the opening round of qualifiers to Katerina Siniakova and Lauren Davis at Adelaide and Hobart respectively, and followed that up with a first round loss to Kateryna Baindl at the Australian Open.
And even here at Linz, Rakhimova had been knocked out of the tournament in the qualifiers but has managed to enter the main draw as a lucky loser. Can she now take down a player who is ranked behind her on the WTA charts.

Lys Gets Wildcard into Main Draw
The 21-year-old Lys has never been ranked better than 122nd in the world but has shown signs of why she could be one of the players to watch out for in the times to come.
This season, Lys has participated in two tournaments – one at the ITF level in Canberra and then at the Australian Open qualifiers after that.
Lys made the quarterfinals in Canberra and then won three qualifiers to enter the main draw of the season’s first Grand Slam. It was her first ever appearance in the main draw of a major and while she lost in her opener, she pushed her opponent Cristina Bucsa to three sets there.
With just one main draw win under her belt last season, this could be a good chance for Lys to double that count here against a player struggling for form.
