The 2022 edition of the Cordoba Open was won by Albert Ramos Vinolas, who defeated surprise finalist Alejandro Tabilo to lift the trophy. Ramos Vinolas won 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 to carve out the victory.

Ramos Vinolas had earlier won against Andrej Martin, Juan Pablo Varillas, Lorenzo Sonego and Juan Ignacio Londero to win the competition.

In 2021, 20-year-old Argentinean Juan Manuel Cerúndolo won his home tournament after beating Albert Ramos Vinolas in the final with 6-0, 2-6, 6-2. It was the first ATP title for the youngster.

Cerundolo started as an unseeded qualifier and had to overcome three gruelling matches to reach the main draw. There, he defeated Thiago Wild, number three seed Miomir Kecmanovic, number seven seed Thiago Monteiro, and Federico Coria to reach the final.

As for Vinolas, he started as the fifth seed and defeated four Argentinean players en route to the trophy game. His biggest win came over the top seed Diego Schwartzman with 6-1, 4-6, 6-3. Benoit Paire also featured in the tournament as the number two seed but was knocked out in the quarterfinal by Coria.

In 2020, Cristian Garin lifted the trophy by defeating Diego Schwartzman in the final in three sets. The match looked to be getting into an exciting state but Garin made mincemeat of his opponent in the final set, bagelling him in double-quick time.

Schwartzman had defeated Laslo Djere while Garin had overcome Andrej Martin respectively in the semifinal stage.

The 2019 Cordoba Open was the first ever edition of the competition, having replaced the Quito Open in Ecuador. Argentine Juan Ignacio Londero won the title by beating fellow countryman Guido Pella in the final, 3-6, 7-5, 6-1.
