What Happened at the 2019 ATP Umag Open?

Dusan Lajovic went on to lift the Croatia Open title by beating qualifier Attila Balazs in the final. It was the first ATP final appearance for Balazs and while he lost, it wasn’t without a gritty showing in the final. He had overcome Filip Krajinovic, who was the sixth seeded, and then beaten Laslo Djere en route the final.

There was no respite for Fabio Fognini and Borna Coric, the top and second seeds respectively, who both lost in round two of the competition.
