The super talented Greek player managed to pull off a nice win over the third ranked Alexander Zverev yesterday as the final score was 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 in his favour, after two hours and 15 minutes of playing time.
He will certainly enter this match more tired as he spent an hour more on the court than Nadal so far in Madrid and has also played 13 matches more than the Spaniard in this year so far.
One thing going his way is that Tsitsipas has a 9/2 record on clay in 2019 so far which is the same record as Nadal.
