Andrey Rublev v Lloyd Harris Head to Head

This is the first match between the 22-year-olds Andrey Rublev and Lloyd Harris.

Unstoppable Rublev in Search of Second Title of 2020

Young Russian Andrey Rublev returned to the tour in the latter part of 2019, after a year full of injuries and performed well to win the Kremlin Cup as well as register wins against some of the top names on the tour including Roger Federer, Stanislas Wawrinka , Dominic Thiem and others.

2020 has got off the dream start for Rublev, who won the Qatar Open in Doha last week without dropping a set. He has carried his form forward this week to the Adelaide International and is in a final again.

Most of the week has been unchallenged for Rublev until the semi-finals where he and  Canadian Next Gen Felix Auger- Aliassime engaged in a rollicking match of tennis, with the Russian prevailing in a final set, after the players split the first  two sets in tiebreaks.

Rublev has looked in fine touch and is a strong favorite to win another title this weekend and move further up in the ATP rankings.

Can Harris End a Dream Week With Maiden Title?

Little known South African Lloyd Harris was an unheard of name until he took the first set against Roger Federer in their Wimbledon opener in 2019. Although Federer came back to win in four sets comfortably thereafter, the 22-year old showed what he was capable of in that first round match.

Harris began 2020 with spirited performances for South Africa at the inaugural ATP Cup and has furthered on his performance this week at Adelaide.

Starting with a three set-win against up and coming Chilean Cristian Garin, Harris went from strength to strength with victory against Laslo Djere and then upsetting seasoned Pablo Carreno Busta with a convincing win in the quarter-finals.

In a semi-final encounter of unseeded players, Harris edged out American Tommy Paul in a close encounter and brings a good run of form to the title round against in-form Russian Andrey Rublev.

Andrey Rublev v Lloyd Harris Predictions & Tips

Although both players are similar in age, Rublev is considerably more experienced despite his (relatively) short time on the tour.

The Russian has been in invincible touch thus far this season and should be able to handle the powerful South African without much trouble.

Rublev to claim another ATP title, with relative ease in straight sets.

Tip: Rublev to win in straight sets: 2/5 (Click here to get these odds with Unibet)
