Egor Gerasimov v Alejandro Davidovich Fokina Head to Head
.The pair have never met before. This will be the first man between the 28-year old man from Belarus, and the Spaniard, who is seven years younger.

Gerasimov is into his first quarter-final since lockdown, after two wins against players with British connections.
He began with a fine straight sets win over the former world number one, Andy Murray, who is making his latest comeback on tour. Gerasimov won the first set on a tie-break and romped away with the second.
That earned him with a match-up with Aljaz Bedene, who now represents Slovenia, the world number 60.
Gerasimov began badly, dropping his serve in the opening game. But then he worked his way back into the set, levelled, and then broke Bedene once more to take the set.
Again, he dropped his serve early in the second set, only to break back to force a tie-break.
Bedene could barely hold serve at all in the breaker, but Gerasimov had trouble clinching the win, squandering three match points before finally converting the fourth.

Davidovich Fokina, Part of a New Generation of Spanish Player
Born to Russian parents, Davidovich Fokina is part of a new, younger generation of Spanish players. He is somebody who is rapidly progressing up the rankings, even if most of his success to date has been on the Challenger Tour.
he was made to fight in the first round by his compatriot, Barnabe Zapata Miralles, a man ranked 90 places below him in the world. He beat him, but needed a tie-break in the first set and conceded the second to his less heralded opponent.
However, he produced a much better performance against the number four seed, Hubert Hurkasz of Poland, on Thursday.
It was the Pole who grabbed the advantage first by breaking, but the Spaniard broke back immediately, and then broke once more to take the first set.
In the second set, the Hurkasz serve was under constant pressure. He saved three break points but, at the next opportunity, Davidovich Fokina broke him and again in his next service game.
The Spaniard went on to complete an impressive win.

Both men are not used to reaching the quarter-final of a tournament such as this, and both have beaten better fancied opponents to get this far. Davidovich Fokina, though has the higher world ranking, and is the player on the rise, so he is tipped to advance.
