John Millman v Ilya Marchenko Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the frit match between the 32 year old Australian and the Ukrainian, who is two years older.

Millman bounced back in style from the disappointment of failing to defend the title he won the Astana Open in 2020 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
Drawn against Mikael Ymer of Sweden, the world number 85, it took him just 87 minutes to see off the challenge of the 23-year old in their first round match on Tuesday.
After Millan held his opening service game, the pair swapped breaks, but then, the Swede was broken twice more as the Australian gradually took control.
Ymer looked like he had fought his way back into the match as he went a break up early in the second set, but then he faltered, allowing Millman to level, and then dropped his serve once again to meekly bow out of the tournament.

Ukrainian Qualifier Marchenko Beats Veteran
The Ukrainian qualifier Marchenko had already claimed one Italian scalp in Sofia, when he beat Marco Cecchinato, the world number 82.
And then on Wednesday, he added another one to his collection in the shape of the veteran Andrea Seppi currently the 95th ranked player.
The first set saw the Ukrainian strike first when he broke the Italian’s serve in the third game. Neither man earned a break point after that and Marchenko was able to close out the set with no undue alarms.
In the second set a sequence of three games went against serve in the middle of the set which left Marchenko a break to the good. He then broke Seppi once more and went on to clinch victory with his second match point.

Millman will begin favourite against the qualifier ranked 96 places below him in the world, and who does not have his experience of playing on the senior tour.
