Ash Barty v Camila Giorgi Head to Head
There have been three previous meetings between these two players with Barty having won every single time.
At the first two in 2017, Barty dropped a total of five games before Giorgi finally won a set at the 2018 Australian Open where they had faced off in the second round.

Two matches played, four sets and just three games lost. That’s Barty so far this Australian Open, having entered this competition on the back of a title win in Adelaide.
And even there, she had begun scratchily by losing the opening set to Cori Gauff but since then is yet to drop a set, defeating Sofia Kenin, Iga Swiatek and Elena Rybakina in the process.
And Lucia Bronzetti just became her sixth victim for the season as Barty ran away to a 6-1, 6-1 victory in a mere 54 minutes to enter the third round.
In a match that turned out to be completely one-sided from the get-go, Barty helped herself to five breaks of serves of the six break-points she received while facing none as she won 19 of 22 first serve points.
While Giorgi might be a more pedigreed opponent than Bronzetti, Barty will be brimming with confidence as she looks to ease into round four.

Giorgi Tames Tereza
Tereza Martincova has had a couple of good runs last season but coming up against Giorgi she couldn’t push her opponent to the extent she would have liked.
Giorgi, who had earlier eased past Anastasia Potapova in the first round of this competition, defeated Tereza 6-2, 7-6 (2) in an hour and 39 minutes to enter round three.
Broken twice in the match, Giorgi retaliated with four breaks of her own as she ran away with the win despite having taken a 5-2 lead in the second set.
She will now have a battle on her hands as she looks to get past the world number one – or at least push her further than both of Barty’s previous two opponents.
