Arthur Rinderknech v Holger Rune Head to Head
Rinderknech has won their only previous H2H which went to a third set tie-break. It was a high quality affair with only 4 breaks in the match which Rinderknech won 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(4). This happened in a Round of 16 match on clay in Kitzbuhel 2021.

Next Gen Rune Having a Breakthrough season
Holger Rune has been a tennis sensation in Denmark since he was a teen. In the last 12 months, he has cemented his name among the future stars on men’s tennis. The ultimate stamp was winning the Munich title (his first ATP Title) last month without dropping a set.
The world number 42, currently enjoying his best ranking takes part in the tournament for the first time. He has a 20-12 record this year and 14-6 on clay. He also won the San Remo challenger as part of his preparations for the clay season.
Rune has all the tricks in his arsenal with no particular weakness. His serve will get bigger as he matures however his court coverage and baseline game is top of the charts. Although unseeded, he has one of the favourites here and we could well see an unseeded finalist.
The Danish professional will seek revenge against Rinderknech having lost to him in their only H2H. Rune will be confident of making a deep run a week before Roland Garros kickstarts.
