Kaja Juvan is playing a rather solid year as the Slovenian is able to keep herself inside the top 100. She’s 20-9 on the year with a positive record on each surface and that’s a positive for her. She’s quite an aggressive player and most of that suits her well on faster surfaces.

Berberovic Lucky Losing Her Way To A Win
Nefisa Berberovic entered the main draw of his event as a lucky loser and she achieved the biggest win in her career by coming back to win over Sloane Stephens. Such a win can do wonders for a player who did not even expect to be there in the first place.
It was a great match by the Bosnian who was quite nervous to start. She settled in after that brought start and completely outplayed Stephens down the stretch. Something similar might happen against Juvan but she will certainly have more belief than before.
She’s only 4-7 on the year but historically she played very well on clay. It’s her best surface by far but winning against Juvan will be a very thing to achieve. Still, she showed she can do it.
Juvan v Berberic Prediction and Tip
A Balkan clash in Strasbourg will be determined by who plays better and who has more self-belief. Both of them are capable of winning the match but Juvan is the far better player. She has more experience nad that should suit her to agree.
If Berberovic comes out strong she might put some doubt in Juvan but I’m pretty confident she can handle it. If she plays the way she can she should win this. Nonetheless, Berberovic is a player on the rise and we should see more of her in the future, just not this time.
