The Serbian likes to play on clay and had a lot of success last year when she had a 21-9 record on the red surface. She had also reached the main draw in Paris last year through qualifying but fell to Cori Gauff in Round 1.
Her 2022 season hasn’t been going well with a 9-10 overall record and 3-3 on clay. Currently ranked 114, her career high single ranking is 39 achieved in 2018.
Krunic will be happy with the draw she has received and will fancy beating Rakhimova despite not having a very good record against her. If she wins, she will reach the French Open second round for the second time in her career.
