Elise Mertens v Storm Sanders Head to Head
They are 1-1 from their two meetings. Both matches were played last year with Mertens winning at the French Open and Sanders at the Billie Jean King Cup.

World No. 29 Elise Mertens is yet to produce a big result this year.
The 26-year-old, who reached the fourth rounds of the Australian and French Opens, was a quarterfinalist in St. Petersburg and Strasbourg, but is yet to go make it to the final four this season.
The Belgian has done well in doubles this year though, winning the title in Dubai and finishing runners-up in Qatar and Miami.
Mertens will be making her fifth main draw appearance at ‘s-Hertigenbosch. She reached the quarterfinals as a qualifier in 2016, but has won just one more match in the tournament.
The eighth seed has a 50% win record on grass having won 17 and lost 17 over her career. She has reached the last 16 once and the third round twice at the Wimbledon and was the doubles champion on the grass court major last year. The Belgian will look to go deep into tournaments ahead of Wimbledon.

Sanders Qualifies for Main Draw
World No. 240 Storm Sanders entered the main draw with a 6-1, 7-5 win over Belgium’s Yanina Wickmayer in the second qualifying round on Monday.
The Australian had beaten the United States’ Alycia Parks 6-3, 7-6 in the first qualifying round on Saturday.
Sanders, who reached the doubles semifinal at Wimbledon last year, will be playing her first tour-level main draw match on grass on Tuesday. She has a 24-14 record on the surface at the ITF and qualifier levels.
This year, Sanders is 0-5 in the main draws but has won six matches at the qualifying level.
