Tamara Zidansek v Caty McNally Head to Head

Outplayed in the first set, Tamara Zidansek made a solid recovery to win her opening round match at ‘s-Hertogenbosch against Harmony Tan.
Zidansek struggled in the early part of the contest, winning just 15 of 40 points in the first set. She didn’t hold a single break point, while Tan broke her twice to take the first set.
The World No. 59 then turned things around in the second set, converting 3 of 3 break points in the set, while get broken just once.
The third set saw a neck-and-neck fight with both breaking each other twice in the first nine games. However, it was the Slovenian who got the decisive third break to clinch the match 1-6, 6-2, 6-4.
The win improved the 24-year-old to 8-8 this season and she will now be aiming to reach her second quarterfinal this year, following her run to the semifinals in Adelaide-2.

McNally Knocks Out Saville
World No. 229 Caty McNally carried her qualifying round form into the main draw as the American defeated Australia’s Daria Saville in straight sets on Tuesday.
The win was McNally’s first main draw win at the tour level after she was knocked out of the opening rounds in Guadalajara, Indian Wells and Charleston.
McNally went a break up twice in the first set, but saw the World no. 104 pull the break back on both the occasions. She eventually dominated the tiebreak to seal the first set.
Seville started the second with a break, but McNally came back well in the set, breaking her opponent in the fourth and the eighth games for a 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 victory.
It will be interesting to see if McNally can keep the momentum going.
