Joao Sousa v Alexander Ritschard Head to Head
The pair have played each other twice before, and Sousa has won on each occasion.
He won on the Challenger tour in 2012 and, again, five years later, both in straight sets.

Sousa with a Swiss Clay Court Final This Year
Portugal’s number one Sousa has already had some success in Switzerland this year, reaching the final in Geneva for the second time, only to lose in three sets to Casper Ruud.
And he did win the Maharashtra Open in February on hard courts, although he would be honest enough to admit that the field in India this year was not the strongest.
However, he has only won one match since Geneva and that was in the first round of the French Open.
He lost all four of the matches he played on grass, whilst his return to clay last week in Bastad ended in a straight set first round loss to the world number 36, Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina, of Spain.
Swiss Wildcard Ritschard
Ritschard is one of a number of Swiss players who has been given a wildcard to this home event in the Alps, although he also holds dual US nationality.
He made his main draw debut in the doubles in this tournament nine years ago, and after years of plugging away on the Challenger tour, he achieved a personal milestone recently by qualifying for Wimbledon for the first time, at the age of 28.
He began brightly as well, racing into a 4 -1 lead in the first set against the world number six Stefanos Tsitsipas.
But, just as he was scenting an upset, the Greek rallied, and went on to win the match in four sets.
Sousa v Ritschard Prediction and Tip
Although Sousa may have been out of form recently, a match against a man who has just made his ATP singles debut and lacks any of his experience at this level, may just be what the Portuguese needs to build some confidence. Given that he has beaten Ritschard twice before, he will be backed to make it three.
Tip: Sousa to win: 5/9 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
