Richard Gasquet v Roberto Carballes Baena Head to Head

Richard Gasquet will be playing in Gstaad for the first time since 2010. The World No. 66 has an 11-2 record in the clay court tournament.
He won the title on his debut in 2006, was a quarterfinalist in 2007 and finished runner-up in 2010.
This year, the 36-year-old returns to the tournament for the first time in 12 years and brings a 14-11 season record along with him. His best this year saw him reach the semifinals in Geneva. He also made it to the last eight in Estoril, Marrakech and Montpellier.
The 15-time champion from 32 ATP finals, Gasquet is 8-5 on clay this season. He has won 61.8% of his matches on clay over his career, which includes three titles. He will be hoping to go deep in Gstaad once again.

Carballes Baena Reaches Amersfoort Final
As we were writing this preview Roberto Carballés Baena was preparing to play in the clay court final of the Amersfoort Challenger against defending champion Tallon Griekspoor.
Ranked No. 81 Carballes Baena is 5-13 on the tour this season, but was preparing to play in the third Challenger final of the year on Sunday.
The clay court specialist won his ninth Challenger title in Tunis in May and was a finalist in Las Palmas in February.
The 29-year-old has a 5-7 tour-level record on clay this season. His best was a quarterfinal appearance in Marrakech.
Carballes Baena has a 3-2 record in Gstaad. He was beaten in the second round on debut in 2018 and was a quarterfinalist in his second appearance in 2019. How far can he go this year?
