Lorenzo Musetti v Aljaz Bedene Head to Head
Musetti leads the H2H 1-0 winning in a quarterfinal clash in Lyon last year on the red clay.

Lorenzo Musetti was not in good form going into Hamburg, losing all his matches on grass and then facing a first round exit in Bastad.
In the first round in Hamburg, Dusan Lajovic had two match points against Musetti. With some individual brilliance and support from the crowd, Musetti found a new gear and went to make a thrilling comeback.
After his first round in Hamburg, Musetti went on to play eye catching tennis on the center court in Hamburg and made a run to his first ATP Final of his young career.
He defeated Emil Ruusuvuori in the second round, Monte Carlo runner up Davidovich Fokina in the quarterfinal and newly crowned ATP Bastad winner Francisco Cerundolo in the semifinal. He faces world number 6 and super star Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
Musetti had made a round to the round of 16 in the Madrid Masters and had to withdraw due to an injury. He exited in the first round of the French Open despite taking a two set lead over Stefanos Tsitsipas.
The Next Gen star went on to win the Forli 9 Challenger in Italy the next month. Musetti is an extremely talented player and despite the result in Hamburg, he should be able to refresh himself and get going in Umag.

Bedene Users Protected Ranking In Umag
Aljaz Bedene has been struggling on tour this year and is currently 4-9 on all surfaces. He hasn’t been able to play enough matches at the tour level in the past two years now.
Once ranked number 43 in the world, Bedene has used his protected ranking to get a place in the main draw of Umag. He is currently ranked 285 in the world.
Bedene had reached the quarterfinal here in 2019 which is his best result in Umag. Last year he crashed out in the first round in the hands of Marco Cecchinato.
The Slovenian has played a majority of his matches in his career on clay and is the most comfortable in this surface. He is hoping to find some form here in a bid to fight back into the top 100 of the world.
