Can Krejcikova Find Some Form Back?
It has been a very tough year for Barbora Krejcikova. Lats year, the Czech had the best year of her career in singles, winning her first three WTA titles from four finals during a 44-18 season.
But this year, the Czech has struggled big time after making a good start. She had begun the season by reaching the final in Sydney and the quarterfinals at the Australian Open, which helped her reach a career-high ranking of No. 2, but she has seen a constant decline in form and rankings since then.
Krejcikova is currently ranked no. 25 in the world, and will be hoping to climb back the rankings with a solid performance in Estonia.
The Czech, who won the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open doubles titles with Katerina Siniakova this year, has not won consecutive singles matches since reaching the last eight in Hamburg in July.
This will be the first time she will be playing since making a second round exit at the U.S. Open. Can she get off to a good start against a player who has done much better than her in singles this year?

Tomljanovic Showing Some Sparkle
In contrast to Krejcikova, Ajla Tomljanovic has displayed better form this year. The 29-year-old Aussie is 32-22 across levels this year and has featured in two major quarterfinals in Wimbledon and the U.S. Open.
Tomljanovic had a slow start to the season, but she got into a good rhythm during the grass court season. Although she did reach two quarterfinals on clay in Istanbul and Rabat, but it is since Wimbledon that she has started looking dangerous.
Tomljanovic was 13-4 during the North American hard court season, which included a first WTA 1000 quarterfinal in Cincinnati and a first last eight finish at the U.S. Open. She did feature in the Slovenia Open following her Flushing Meadows exit but was knocked out in the first round by Ana Bogdan.
So currenly she is 13-5 from the last 18 matches. It will be interesting to see if she can overcome the Portoroz disappointment quickly and start with a win in Tallinn.
Krejcikova v Tomljanovic Prediction and Tip
