Lucia Bronzetti v Maryna Zanevska Head to Head
Zanevska is 2-0 against the Italian. The Belgian won in Tarvisio in 2020 and in Bucharest 125 this year.
While the first win came in three sets, last week Zanevska demolished Bronzetti 6-1, 6-0 in Bucharest.

Lucia Bronzetti will be happy with how things have gone this season but her current form is a concern.
The World no. 63 reached her maiden WTA final in Palermo, only to finish runner-up to Irina-Camelia Begu. She also reached her maiden WTA 125K final, but missed out on the title in Vancouver.
Bronzetti is 32-22 overall from matches played at all levels this year and is 13-9 on clay — the surface where she picked her only title of the season at the ITF level.
The 23-year-old Italian doesn’t come to Parma in great form though as she has lost the last four matches that she has played. The series of defeats began in the final in Vancouver. Since then she lost her first round matches at the U.S. Open and the WTA 125 matches in Bucharest and Budapest.

Zanevska Brings Good Form From Bucharest
World No 95 Maryna Zanevska looked in good touch at the WTA 125 in Bucharest last week. The Belgian won her first three matches to reach the semifinals but couldn’t make it to a first final of the season.
Zanevska was also a semifinalist at the WTA 125 in Saint Malo. But her best this year came at the WTA 250 in Hamburg, where she also reached the final four.
Overall, the Belgian has a 17-18 season record and she has been at her best on clay, where she has an 11-8 season record.
A 19-time champion at the ITF level, Zanevska won her only WTA title in Poland last year. With this being the final WTA 250 on clay this year, Zanevska will be hoping to end on a high.

As Zanevska trounced Bronzetti 6-1, 6-0, only 15 days ago, she will be holding the psychological edge. Expect the Belgian to begin the tournament with a straight sets win.
