Petra Kvitova v Bernarda Pera Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 32 year old Czech, and the American, who is five years younger.

Kvitova has been given a wildcard in to an event that is very close to home for her, although, given her world ranking, she would qualify on her own merit for a spot in the main draw.
This will be her first tournament since reaching the fourth round of the US Open, where she was eventually defeated by Jessica Pegula of the USA.
Before that she was a beaten finalist in Cincinnati, losing to Caroline Garcia of France on that occasion.
And she did win in Eastbourne on grass, the fifth tournament victory of her career.

Pera Back to Back Winner in July
Pera achieved a major career breakthrough in July when she won her first senior title on the clay of Budapest.
And, to prove that was no fluke, she promptly won her second one the following week in Hamburg.
Since then she has finished runner-up in a Challenger event in the USA, and reached the semi-finals of another one, although she would have been disappointed to have lost in the first round of her home Grand Slam, and last week in Tallinn.
It is a testimony, though, to the quality of field gathered in Ostrava, that she has still been made to qualify, beating first Barbora Palicova of the Czech Republic for the loss of just four games, before having to recover, after losing the second set, to defeat her compatriot Nikola Bartunkova, ranked 315th in the world.
Kvitova v Pera Prediction and Tip
Although Pera may be a qualifier, Kvitova would do well not to underestimate the American, twice a winner on the tour in July. However, the Czech does have the advantage of playing in home conditions, and, with the crowd behind her as well, that should make the difference.
